Neighbourhood Forum Public Meeting – June 2016

Wednesday 15 June, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Learn about Neighbourhood Planning, civic empowerment and contribute your ideas about your local area.

You and your friends are invited to the Spring Public Meeting of the Roman Road Neighbourhood Forum. The meeting will begin with a presentation explaining Neighbourhood Planning. There will then be a short explanation of Commonplace.is, the online commenting tool for Roman Road Neighbourhood Plan showing our proposed boundary. This will be followed by a workshop that will help develop ideas for how a Neighbourhood Plan could help you and your community.

This is the third Public Meeting of the Roman Road Neighbourhood Forum. The inaugural Public Meeting of the Roman Road Neighbourhood Forum was held on Saturday 20 February – read about our Winter meeting.  A month later on Saturday 19 March the Forum held a public ‘beating of the bounds’ exploring Roman Road’s development potential. In April the Neighbourhood Forum focused on setting up the Neighbourhood Forum’s Steering Committee.

This Spring meeting will be held at Caxton Community Centre off Malmsbury Road at the PDSA Vet end, and starts at 6.30pm. Light refreshments will be available.
